Dr. Óscar Casado is a specialist in Diagnostic Radiology with particular expertise in musculoskeletal MRI.
His clinical and scientific work focuses on advanced imaging of joints and periarticular structures, with particular interest in sports-related musculoskeletal disorders and in the evaluation of bone, tendon, enthesis and cartilage.
He has participated in scientific and educational activities related to advanced musculoskeletal MRI and emerging techniques designed to improve tissue characterisation.
At BAIS 2026, Dr. Casado will present “Ultra-Short TE and Zero Echo (UTE/ZTE) in Musculoskeletal Imaging”, focusing on CT-like MRI techniques for the assessment of cortical bone, entheses and tendons and their potential applications in athletes.
