Dr. Pedro Álvarez is a specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology, with particular expertise in sports traumatology, arthroscopic surgery and knee disorders.
His clinical activity is especially focused on the treatment of sports-related knee injuries, including meniscal pathology and ligament injuries, with particular experience in the management of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries.
His scientific work includes research into ACL reconstruction, reinjury risk, sports-related knee injuries and return to sport, with particular relevance to football players and young athletes.
