Dr. Juan Álvarez-Linera is an experienced neuroradiologist with a long-standing clinical and scientific career in advanced neuroimaging.
His work focuses on MRI of the central nervous system and the application of advanced imaging techniques to neurological disease. His areas of expertise include epilepsy, neurodegenerative and demyelinating disorders and advanced MRI applications.
Throughout his career, he has combined clinical neuroradiology with scientific research and collaboration in advanced imaging projects.
At BAIS 2026, Dr. Álvarez-Linera will deliver “Applications of Ultra-High-Resolution MRI in Neurology”, exploring how high-field and ultra-high-resolution imaging can modify neuroradiological diagnosis and open new opportunities for the study of brain connectivity and neurological disease.
